1946 AMI Model A Jukebox ?
1946 AMI model "A" jukebox in superb original condition. It was the first jukebox to play both sides of the record and also the first to use acrylic plastics. As a 78rpm record is played there are two rotating cylinders on either side that light up the lower pilasters with changing colours. Beautiful wood veneer with excellent chrome and aluminium castings. This would be a great investment as the Model A is becoming increasingly rare. Only 11,000 were made as compared to 56,000 Wurlitzer1015s, a contempory jukebox of the time. Extremely stylish and looks great in any home.
